Privacy Policy

We collect only what we need to run Whooshly:

• Your email address when you create an account.
• Basic usage analytics (pageviews, generation counts) to improve the product.
• Payment information, processed by our payment provider — we never see or store full card numbers.
• The text prompts you submit, in order to generate sound effects.

We use your data to provide the service (generate sounds, manage your account, count usage against your plan), to communicate important account updates, and to improve Whooshly. We do not sell your personal data.

• Supabase — accounts, authentication, and database storage.
• PostHog — privacy-respecting product analytics.
• Paddle — payment processing and subscription billing.
• ElevenLabs — AI sound-effect generation.

These providers process data only as needed to support Whooshly and are bound by their own privacy commitments.

We use a small number of cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in and to power analytics. You can clear cookies at any time from your browser settings.

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

You may request access to or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing whooshly@outlook.com. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights under laws such as GDPR or CCPA.

Whooshly is accessible globally. By using the service, you agree that your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States.
